WEEK 2 CASE STUDY
What will be the problem you plan to solve with AI?
Ferdinand Taslim (TP072735)
The influence of AI on a worldwide scale has been substantial, transforming numerous industries and seamlessly integrating into our everyday routines (Walter, 2024). Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents transformative solutions for energy optimization, education transformation, and healthcare challenges. In energy, AI-driven smart grids enhance distribution efficiency and predict maintenance issues, leading to reduced waste and increased reliability. Education also benefits from AI through adaptive learning platforms, personalized tutoring, and data analytics, ensuring tailored learning experiences and improved academic outcomes. In healthcare, AI aids in early disease detection through medical imaging analysis, facilitates personalized care with predictive analytics, and enhances accessibility through virtual health assistants. By harnessing AI's potential, we can revolutionize all these sectors, creating a more sustainable, inclusive, and healthier future for humanity.

Today, everything is all about technology. Everyday people are interacting with technologies, for instance mobile phones. Not only that, but there’s also a lot of examples out there like medical treatment, entertainment, e-sports, etc. But Stephen Hawking once said “One of the basic rules of the universe is that NOTHING IS PERFECT. “So, in this world there is no item or person who is perfect and of course it has drawbacks to it. To solve some of the problems, I have a method using AI. Medical diagnosis and treatment optimization are examples of problems that may be tackled with AI. AI algorithms can assess large volumes of medical data, including patient symptoms, medical history, test results, imaging scans, and scientific literature, to help healthcare providers make accurate diagnoses, etc. AI may find patterns and connections that doctor, or human physicians may not see, resulting in earlier illness diagnosis, more exact diagnoses, and personalized treatment. This can lead to better patient outcomes, fewer medical mistakes, and of course cheaper healthcare expenditures.

These days we know that AI (Artificial Intelligence) is like having a smart assistant, especially in decision-making, helping us achieve better choices. It uses elaborate algorithms and cool tech stuff to recognize data, patterns and most importantly give us insights.
But like every other thing in the universe, AI also has its weaknesses. Sometimes the data gathered by it isn't perfect or it's hard to understand why AI makes certain choices. There are also important ethical questions that need to be thought about something like fairness and privacy.
What issue can AI therefore resolve? Now picture yourself managing a bustling virtual store. You have a lot of clients and merchandise to handle. You can keep your shelves stocked and your prices exactly right by using AI to assist you forecast what consumers will want to buy and when. Making decisions feels a lot wiser and less stressful when AI is on your side!
Marcello Irawan (TP072752)
Artificial Intelligence or can be call as AI offers a powerful instrument to mitigate climate change through data analysis of the environment, mitigation strategy optimization, and many more ways. With massive data, AI can be processed the data given which improves comprehension of climate dynamics and helps shape evidence-based policy and adaptation strategies. Optimizing energy production and transportation systems, it helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions while promoting robust responses to climate effects like extreme weather and sea level rise. Additionally, AI drives sustainability in industries such as manufacturing and agriculture by leveraging circular economy principles and appropriate methodologies. Despite its potential, proper implementation of AI requires resolving biases, ensuring dependability, and overcoming ethical dilemmas. To fully harness the promise of AI in stopping climate change and ensuring a sustainable future, collaboration is needed and essential.
Stanislaus Raymond Soecoko (TP077043)
Financial management is something that has a lot of algorithms and a lot of small opportunities so that the human brain requires a lot of thinking, thinking about many things and opportunities really drains the human brain, while on the other hand AI can think and think 100x faster and more accurately than the human brain, So the conclusion is that the problems that I will solve with AI are financial problems and financial management, such as economics in a company, bookkeeping in a company. AI will really help us and we as advanced people will find it very easy to understand what AI does for us regarding managing space in our business.
Daniel Kurniadi Khodyat (TP073665)
In this digital era, we feel that AI (Artificial Intelligence) is really helping us in everyday life. With their skill to analyze data, decision making, and also using algorithms to make a prediction make many sectors like finance, healthcare and marketing more developed.
AI can resolve many kinds of human problems, one of them is to improve healthcare efficiency. By combining advanced algorithms and data analysis techniques, AI diagnostics can enhance the accuracy and speed of medical diagnosis, leading to earlier detection and more effective treatments. AI-powered predictive analytics also can help forecast disease outbreaks, optimize resource allocation in hospitals, and improve patient management processes. With AI, healthcare will be more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered.
